Crab Races

You’ve gotta see it to believe it — and when you do, you’ll be laughing the night away. It’s the one and only Captiva Crab Races, where Commissioner Tim invites young and old to three rounds of hermit crab races where, if you’re lucky, you can win some cash (along with the United Way, which has earned more than $250,000 in donations the past 25 years). As a Beachview Cottages guest, you’re welcome to join the fun at Crow’s Nest at ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa, Mondays and Thursdays (October-June). Enjoy two shows, 7 pm for families and 9 pm for adults. Just be sure to get there early to get in on all the crazy, zany fun!
